The split-level house on Dilling Street in Studio City that served as the exterior of the Brady family home is now officially a Los Angeles historic-cultural monument. The City Council voted unanimously 13-0 on March 4 to approve the designation.

The 1959 Midcentury home was used for exterior shots throughout the run of "The Brady Bunch" from 1969 to 1974. The designation protects the property from demolition or major exterior renovations.

HGTV purchased the house in 2018 for nearly $3.5 million and featured it in a renovation miniseries. It was later sold to TV producer and superfan Tina Trahan, who opened it to the public for charity tours in November 2025.

The landmark status means the house will be preserved as part of LA's cultural heritage. It joins other TV and film landmarks in the city that celebrate Hollywood's legacy in the neighborhoods where it was made.
